San Francisco's KOWLOON WALLED CITY unveil their sophomore album 'Container Ships'. Their first record in three years was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA by guitarist/vocalist Scott Evans. Led by poignant guitar melodies soaked in malaise and a powerful rhythm section, 'Container Ships' peels back the skin and brandishes both the beautiful and ugly sides of existence. Elements of sludge, post-rock and indie rock coalesce to create a truly unforgettable, heavy as an oil tanker listening experience. The brainchild of Caleb Scofield (Cave In, Old Man Gloom), ZOZOBRA formed in 2006 and quickly released two crushing full-lengths of atmospheric sludge metal, Harmonic Tremors (2007) and Bird of Prey (2008).
