Brutal Panda Records has released Chicago’s progressive, psychedelic sludge mavens THE ATLAS MOTH’s sophomore opus, ‘An Ache For The Distance’, on 12″ gatefold vinyl this October. The album was released on CD and digital formats via Profound Lore and produced by the band’s own Andrew Ragin with mastering done by the legendary James Murphy (Death, Testament). The release is limited to a pressing of 500 copies on purple haze, white dwarf and glow-in-the-dark vinyl. The album is available now at this location and a tracklisting is included below.

Brutal Panda Records released HARKONEN’s seminal rock and roll / hard-core masterpiece, ‘Shake Harder Boy’, on vinyl this September. This criminally underrated album, originally released on Hydra Head Records and recorded in 2002 by Matt Bayles (MASTODON, BOTCH), is getting the vinyl treatment for the first time ever. Vinyl mastering was done at world-renowned MasterDisk studios to give the LP the finest possible sound. The release is very limited, with only 300 copies being pressed on ocean blue and clear wax. DARK CASTLE – ‘Surrender To All Life Beyond Form’ Sees Limited Edition Release!
Florida experimental doom/sludge metal duo, DARK CASTLE, released their second full-length ‘Surrender To All Life Beyond Form‘ this July as a deluxe gatefold 12″ LP via Brutal Panda Records. The album was recorded and produced by Sanford Parker (Rwake, Pelican, Unearthly Trance) and features guest appearances from members of YOB, U.S. Christmas, Nachtmystium & Minsk.
The vinyl is packaged in a deluxe gatefold and includes expanded artwork plus a 12 page, 11″ x 11″ booklet displaying the stunning artwork of guitarist / vocalist Stevie Floyd! MEGASUS 5″ Mini EP Now Available!
Providence, Rhode Island’s heavy metal warriors, MEGASUS, have released ‘Menace Of The Universe‘, a new two-song mini EP, this January via Brutal Panda Records. The songs, recorded this fall, mark the first new material for the band since their 2009 break-through, self-titled debut on 20 Buck Spin.

Brutal Panda Records has just released Lose/Lose/Lose, a three-way split 12″ featuring noise rock powerhouses, KOWLOON WALLED CITY, FIGHT AMP and LADDER DEVILS. The album, recorded this summer, features 2 brand new songs from each band. These mark the first new tracks from New Jersey’s FIGHT AMP and San Francisco’s KOWLOON WALLED CITY since their previous full lengths, both released last year. The split also features the first ever recorded tracks from Philadelphia’s LADDER DEVILS, the new band featuring members of The Minor Times. RAMMING SPEED – ‘Brainwreck’ Vinyl To See Repress on Neon Green Wax!
Brutal Panda Records is set to repress Boston thrash crew RAMMING SPEED’s debut album, Brainwreck on limited edition, neon green vinyl. The second pressing will be limited to 300 copies and features updated artwork with even more neon! ‘Brainwreck‘ was recorded at New Alliance Studios (Isis, Converge, Bones Brigade) and released in 2008 via Candlelight Records. Additionally, the band will be heading to Europe on their Terrorizer sponsored headlining tour from June 11th – August 1, with tour dates available on the band’s MySpace page. New MILLIONS EP Sees Release!
Brutal Panda Records is proud to announce the release of MILLIONS‘ new EP, ‘Panic Program‘. The EP will be available in 7″ vinyl format and will feature 4 brand new tracks. The tracks were recorded this past November at Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL with the band and Andy Nelson (Harpoon, Weekend Nachos) handling production duties, and mastering being taken care of by Carl Saff (Young Widows, The Atlas Moth). The press will be limited to 500 copies with 300 on cosmic green and 200 on black asteroid.

Brutal Panda Records is teaming up with Red Sun Industries to release NJ noise-rockers FIGHT AMP’s newest full-length, ‘Manners & Praise’, on limited pearl-necklace white vinyl this winter.
‘Manners & Praise’ features 13 brand new tracks and was recorded this past summer at The Jam Room with Philip Cope (Kylesa, Baroness). Vinyl mastering will take place at Prairie Cat Mastering for optimal sound quality, and each record comes packaged with an 11″x16″ poster insert.
