The label will be releasing four split 7″s every couple of months throughout 2013 and featuring Black Tusk, Fight Amp, Kowloon Walled City, Helms Alee, Ladder Devils, Rabbits, Whores and Batillus. The series is kicking off with a new repress of the long out of print Black Tusk / Fight Amp split featuring artwork from Baroness frontman John Baizley. Each additional split will contain brand new and exclusive tracks from the aforementioned bands with details on the second title to be released shortly.
The series will be limited to 100 subscribers who will receive a special vinyl color for each release in addition to the chance at winning a test press of one of the titles. Brutal Panda Records is proud to announce that Pacific Northwest rock crew HARKONEN will reunite to play three exclusive east coast shows this June. These special events are a series of Brutal Panda label showcases that also include THE ATLAS MOTH and WHORES on all dates. The shows will take place, starting June 14th, in Boston, Brooklyn and Philadelphia, with the Brooklyn show being a part of the Northside Festival. Each show will also feature a special guest on the bill including ZOZOBRA, LADDER DEVILS and FIGHT AMP. The complete listing of dates and ticket info is available below the fold.
Atlanta, GA noise merchants WHORES have unleashed their debut release, Ruiner, via Brutal Panda Records. The album was recorded this past summer at The Factory in Atlanta, GA with Kyle Spence (HARVEY MILK) handling the mastering duties. The record is available on 12″ vinyl, with orders available here. A stream of Ruiner‘s opening track, “Daddy’s Money’, can be heard via the band’s official Bandcamp page.
