Philly post-punk / alt rock quartet FULL BUSH share their first new song in two years “Villains”! Listen on all streaming services HERE. “Villains” was recorded in a restored barn from the 1800s at The Animal Farm in Flemington, NJ; a studio / animal sanctuary in the heart of NJ’s countryside. The track will appear on FULL BUSH’s next release due out in 2024.
The band commented on the song:
“Villains was written in response to the familiar colloquialism "you've gotta kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince." All too often those "frogs" in our relationships turn out to be more like the villains in the story of our lives. Lead singer Kate Breish, credited with writing the song, had this to say about it "I felt the phrase should be "gotta kiss the villains before you find your hero," and one character I have great fondness for is the 90's tv show version of Lois Lane, who has just terrible luck with men. Most of her boyfriends turn out to be truly evil and out for world domination, save, of course, for Superman. So this became a rewrite to the phrase as well as a tribute to my favorite love story."”
